Dan Bayer
BIM Specialist, Miron Construction Co.

Dan has experience implementing and teaching BIM technologies in organizations nationally, as well as 12 years of industry experience. He focuses on the communication and collaboration of BIM with design partners, building owners, and subcontractors. Dan researches and develops BIM technologies for internal purposes.

Dawn Boggio-Korbelak
Vice President Product Development, K. Hovnanian Homes

Dawn is a member of a team at K. Hovnanian that seeks out best practices to improve the company's processes. She promotes best practices in the area of product development and incorporates technology solutions geared towards the industry.

Christian Burger
Principal, Burger Consulting Group

Dedicated to the information systems needs of construction companies in the US and Canada, Christian has worked with contractors for twenty years on software selections, implementation management, IT strategy, and evaluation of current systems.

Mike Carrozzo
Cheif Editor, Constructech magazine

Mike reports on technology and business trends for both the commercial and residential construction market. He has been a part of the Specialty Publishing Co. editorial team since 2002.

Mark Federle
McShane Chair, Construction Engineering & Management, Marquette University

As the McShane Chair at Marquette University, Mark is responsible for starting what will become the 13th ABET (Accredited Construction Engineering) program in the country. Previously, he was CIO for The Weitz Co. in Des Moines for 9 years.

Bassem Hamdy
Vice President, Solutions, CMiC

Bassem develops and synchronizes the marketing and solution initiatives for CMiC's innovative product lines. He anticipates customer demands by analyzing industry trends and issues and ensures CMiC is at the forefront of technological solutions for the AEC industry.

Brad Hardin
Director of Operations, 3D CONSTRUCT lab

Brad is a LEED accredited architect and has over nine years of architecture, sustainability and BIM experience. He is a founding partner of 3D CONSTRUCT lab and assists in the successful training, implementation and use of BIM.

Timothy Holtz
Project Manager, Lauth Property Group

Timothy is a Project Manager in the IT department. Timothy has performed roles like Systems and Network Administrator, and designing the company's new Intranet. He has also accepted the challenge to achieve a LEED AP by the end of 2008.

Bryan Jurewicz
President and CEO, GradeBeam

Bryan is in charge of strategy, operations, technical direction, business development, public relations, and financials for GradeBeam. By leveraging a balance of drive and vision, he delivers results in complex and challenging environments.

Matt Kausch
Estimator, Tim Schaeffer Communities

Matt handles single family cost estimating and analysis, maintaining the estimating and purchasing database. He also implements various software applications. With 19 years experience, Matt has been a project manager and estimator.

Dann Kroeger
President, HeadsUp Technologies, LLC

Developing software for 35 years, Dann has worked with Creative Data Systems, Ingersoll, CareerConnections, and SaaS. HeadsUp Technologies was formed in 2003 to provide SaaS Scheduling and Project Management for the construction industry. Dann received his Masters from Harvard Business School and Bachelors in Mathematics from Iowa State University.

Thad M. Lutgens
I.T. Director, L.P.R. Construction Co.

Thad has been guiding LPR Construction through technology advances for nearly a decade. BIM modeling was introduced to LPR in 2002 on the Denver Art Museum Expansion project. Production and Safety improvements were gained while keeping the complex project ahead of schedule. Since then BIM integration has become an important aspect to LPR's organization.

Tim Malarney
Director, Information Technology, Shiel Sexton Company

Tim champions all aspects of technology within Shiel Sexton. His primary responsibilities include determining strategic direction and implementation of technology initiatives and foundation elements. Tim joined Shiel Sexton in 1990.

John Salimbene

John has more than 22 years of experience in the business process and enterprise application markets. He specializes in business process assessments and re-engineering, project management automation, and knowledge based solutions.

Peggy Smedley

Peggy continues to develop an understanding of the various industries her publications cover, including Constructech. In 1997 she formed Specialty Publishing Co. with the goal of enlightening executives in key industries.

Gary Thomas

Gary assists others in doing their jobs better, faster, and cheaper by using enabling technologies. Previously, he advised over 50 leading companies in business and technology strategy as an advisor with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Accenture.

Marshall Usher
Systems Support Manager, SelectBuild

Marshall uses construction experience and expertise developing solutions to bridge the gap between the field and back office. He also leads the nationwide rollout of SelectBuild's construction scheduling and supply chain management application.

Susan Watkins
Director of Marketing, Meridian Systems

Susan is director of marketing at Meridian Systems where she oversees all corporate marketing initiatives. Susan has spent the last 20 years developing marketing strategies and campaigns, building marketing organizations, and generating momentum for high tech companies and products.

Steve Watt
President and CEO, WinEstimator, Inc.

Steve has over 22 years of experience providing software business solutions to the AEC Industry. He spent over 19 years in a number of key management roles at Timberline Software. Steve has also spoken at various conferences in the AEC space.
