Carol Stream, Ill. - Aug. 22, 2008 - Constructech magazine announced the 2008 winners in its annual Vision Awards yesterday during a dinner and gala, closing the third annual Technology Day conference, at the Westin Chicago Northwest.
The Constructech Vision Awards honor companies that have realized the advantages of applying innovative technologies to their everyday businesses as well as the technology enablers that have helped them achieve their goal.
Any company involved in residential, commercial, and heavy construction, subcontractors in all trades, architectural and engineering firms, corporate owners, facility management companies, government agencies, and land developers are eligible for these awards.
Constructech has now given out more than 260 awards since 2000, honoring members of the construction space. To honor these winners, Constructech unveiled the Vision Awards "Wall of Fame," which displayed each winning company in a specific year throughout the banquet.
"The 2008 Vision Awards winners exemplify the drive and innovation necessary to be successful in the construction industry," said Mike Carrozzo, editor of Constructech magazine. "As the impressive group of previous Vision Award winners have done, these companies have chosen to improve their businesses by implementing leading-edge technology solutions, serving their customers more efficiently. Each of them deserves the recognition they have achieved this evening."
