CADsoft Consulting,, Tucson, Ariz.—a training and technical support company for architectural firms, engineering companies, contractors, subcontractors, and agencies—is beginning to work with more technology providers to help firms with BIM (building information modeling) workflow analysis.

The consulting firm offers educational training and consulting for products from Autodesk,, San Rafael, Calif. The firm expanded its portfolio to include Prolog software from Meridian Systems,, Folsom, Calif., and SmartBIM Library.

Last week, Meridian Systems announced a new VAR (value-added reseller) agreement with CADsoft Consulting, allowing construction companies to apply their BIM (building information modeling) workflow to construction project management workflow.

According to Tim Duncan, president and CEO, CADsoft Consulting, the company can now offer integrated solutions for the AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) industry.

The partnership will allow Meridian and CADsoft to provide solutions by applying BIM workflow analysis expertise to improve the document review process. The technology providers will also help standardize project data across organizations.

“Since CADsoft is also a significant Autodesk partner, CADsoft can apply their BIM workflow analysis knowledge to construction project management workflow solutions with Prolog software,” says Elizabeth Dodson, director of business development, Meridian Systems.
