The technology, a plug-in for Microsoft Office, allows users to find and share emails, improving project management, quality assurance compliance, and team communication.
With Mail Manager 5.0, companies can now use this email management software on BlackBerry devices. This will allow companies to organize and file emails anywhere. In addition, this new release includes faster searching capabilities when disconnected. This is beneficial for construction companies that are trying to access emails at a jobsite with no Internet connection.
While this is just one example, many imaging and workflow technology providers offer email-management capabilities in software. This might be a feature worth considering, as it speeds up the amount of time it takes to find an email, provides an easy way to store and share content, and might be a bit easier to recover in cases of litigation.
