Corecon Technologies Inc.

Constructech's Hottest Companies 2007 - Residential

Since transitioning its estimating/project management/job cost product from a client/server to an on-demand solution two years ago, Corecon Technologies, www.corecon.com, Huntington Beach, Calif., has grown its number of users by 66% and revenue by 70%.

The company provides a single Web-based platform that helps builders track leads, perform takeoffs, manage subcontractor/supplier bids, track schedules, collaborate on documents, and track costs.

Its CoreconLink products ensure the core product is efficiently linked with leading financial packages, such as QuickBooks and Microsoft.

Late in 2006 Corecon announced the launch of CoreconLink for SAP Business One and CoreconLink for Sage Simply Accounting, enabling larger firms to link Corecon with their core financial data.

Corecon adds a nice layer of business intelligence for builders via dashboards that help users analyze leads, projects, and budget financials. Wizards contained within the product help users through complex processes, such as setting up job budgets, contracts, scheduling, and purchasing data.

As an on-demand offering, Corecon rolls out upgrades without the need for clients to make substantial changes to their IT infrastructure. The company introduced Corecon 2006, and just recently Corecon 2007, built on the latest Microsoft .NET architecture.
