Expanded Service Management
January 10, 2007
Corrigo Inc., www.corrigo.com, Wilsonville, Ore., has furthered its on-demand service management offerings through the acquisition of Aligo, www.aligo.com, which also provides mobile field service and service management solutions.
Corrigo says that through the acquisition of Aligo, contractors and other service-based operations can use solutions from one vendor to track labor hours for payroll or job costing, track and optimize field service delivery productivity, and dispatch and manage work orders. As the solutions are Web-based, Corrigo says it can offer this without installation of software or hardware.
From Aligo, Corrigo gains the WorkTrack and Servicom product lines. WorkTrack provides time collection and location tracking. Servicom offers service management solutions for HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and related contract service organizations. Corrigo says it will continue to support and enhance these product lines as part of an integrated Corrigo service management product suite.
“Service companies are seeking to exploit advances in wireless technology to improve control over their field service operations,” says Rick Michaux, president of Corrigo. “Now, for the first time, whatever their needs, they have a partner who offers a level of automation appropriate to where they are—even if that is basic labor tracking—with the security of knowing that as they develop they can grow into a more comprehensive service management solution at any time.”
Corrigo reports the acquisition is complete and the operations are currently being integrated. Financial terms were not disclosed.
