Carol Stream, Ill. — March 2, 2010 — Specialty Publishing Co., will now broadcast The Peggy Smedley Show, the voice of M2M and connected devices, every Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. CT.
Peggy Smedley, president of Specialty Publishing Co., will serve as host of the new, self-titled program, The Peggy Smedley Show, advising listeners on not only understanding the world of connected devices, but also how to make these embedded devices a part of their everyday lives. Connected devices include everything from GPS, to home security systems, to smart metering, and ereaders.
Smedley, an award-winning editor, has the ability to connect with her listeners via the Internet, inspiring them to understand connected devices through M2M technology.
While Smedley entered the media world on the print side, she decided to up the ante when she found a new medium and vision for her career in 2008 with talk radio. She began hosting the M2M Radio Show at that time, and will now host The Peggy Smedley Show. Smedley also currently serves as editorial director of Specialty Publishing Co.’s publications, Constructech magazine and the newly launched Connected World magazine, as well as the online portal, M2M Premier.
