Carol Stream, Ill. – Jan. 27, 2010 – Constructech magazine today announced the winners of its third annual Constructech Top Products awards in the residential market.

The Constructech Top Products honor technology solutions geared toward the homebuilding market.

Winning products are selected by the Constructech editorial team, and are chosen for innovation and successful results in the marketplace. These products are selected based on the product’s description, the overall usefulness and uniqueness of the product to the construction industry, and the customer growth rate for the particular product throughout the past few years.

Homebuilders do continue to adopt technology, despite the effect of the economic downturn on business. However, this adoption has been held to absolute necessity, and ones that are sure to keep them competitive for the long term.

“As homebuilders continue to look for the right solutions, the winning 2010 Constructech Top Products are bringing strong options to the marketplace,” says Mike Carrozzo, chief editor of Constructech magazine. “In 2010, we can expect to see BIM, Web 2.0 technologies, and green initiatives, among others, move to the forefront of construction technology trends. Those companies who provide this year’s winning products recognize the evolving focus of the homebuilder, and continue to find ways to offer the solutions they are seeking.”
